Operating Environment

The ZN85-40.5 series indoor high voltage vacuum circuit breaker is suitable for use in three-phase AC 50Hz power systems with a rated voltage of 40.5kV. It is designed for industrial and mining enterprises, power plants, and substations, where it is used for switching load currents, overload currents, and fault currents. The unique vertical arrangement of the circuit breaker reduces its depth, making the overall layout more rational, aesthetically pleasing, and compact. It is ideal for indoor environments with temperatures ranging from -10℃ to 40℃ and altitudes up to 1000 meters. The breaker can operate reliably in humidity levels up to 95% and withstand earthquake intensities up to level 8.

Application Scope

The ZN85-40.5 circuit breaker is widely used in high-voltage power transmission settings, particularly in applications requiring frequent operations, such as power dispatch centers and industrial manufacturing facilities. The breaker’s composite insulation structure, featuring three-phase arc extinguishing chambers and electrically connected components isolated by independent epoxy resin insulating tubes, meets the necessary air and creepage distance requirements under normal operating conditions. The main conductive circuit’s vacuum interrupter and the moving and stationary conductive connections are installed within the insulating tube, reducing the phase spacing to just 300mm, thereby minimizing the device’s size while enhancing the reliability of the electrical connections through fixed connections. The device’s compact design and maintenance-free spring operating mechanism ensure flexible operation and extended service life.
